For nearly 20 years and until retirement I have been employed by Buckinghamshire County Council in various roles within the passenger transport sector of the Transportation Service. I am keen to continue to use the experience and knowledge I have gained.

During this time I have managed the Quality Control of passenger transport contracts held by operators providing services for home to school transport, adult day care transport and supported local bus services. I have been responsible for the procurement of contracted local bus servcies, mainstream and special needs home to school transport and adult day care transport.

I have worked closely with a number of enforcement agencies including police officers, VOSA officials and taxi licensing officers.

Laterly, I managed Buckinghamshire County Council's in-house passenger transport fleet (Swanrider) providing, in particular, transport services for children and adults with special needs. I have considerable experience and knowledge in transport legislation and operational procedures and in particular the complexities of transport for wheelchair dependant passengers.
